The State of the Arts 2011 PRODUCING CHANGE took place on September 15, 2011 and was co-produced with the PGA New Media Broadband Committee and The Millennium Project.
The event was preceded by a special c3: VisionLAB Think Tank held in the Vortex Dome. The conversation was led by c3 Founder and Executive Director Kate McCallum and Jerome Glenn, Futrist and Founder of The Millennium Project and was live streamed by Dyal Productions. Attendees shared projects and initatives they were supporting and brainstormed on possible ideas and projects that could be activated in support of brining awareness to the 15 Global Challenges and solutions. Attendees inlcuded featured speakers from the State of the Arts 2010 event, scientists, artists, producers, journalists, educators, city officials and futurists and a philosopher.
The evening event featured a panel moderator by Jeanette de Patie, event producer and Chair of the PGA Broadband Committee. Kate McCallum, c3 founder and Chair of the newly formed Global Arts and Media Node of The Millennium Project, kicked off the event with a welcome and introduced Jerome Glenn who did a brief talk on the Global Arts and Media Node Panelists included Jennifer McClure, founder of SNCR: Society for New Communications, Writer/
