What would you be willing to sacrifice for your freedom?

Summary: “Live Free,” is an odyssey through the war in Ukraine that shows the need to fight for democracy whenever it is threatened.

Film: “Live Free,” follows filmmaker and Army veteran Justin Roberts as he video journals to his daughter from the trenches of the Donbas, explaining the lessons he learned during his journey through the war in Ukraine. His team of veterans travels throughout Ukraine to meet with political leaders, the wounded, and the heroes at the front and in the trenches, all with the goal of understanding the desperate fight for democracy. Structured as a memoir, with each location serves as a chapter, the film explores love and how it motivates people to defend their families and country in the midst of war. Through the stories of six heroes, “Live Free” delves deep into the heart of humanity at war and the struggle for freedom.

Team: The film is directed by Justin D. Roberts, a war and disaster documentary director and producer with a track record of creating powerful, impactful films. Roberts is the creator of the international award-winning military documentary No Greater Love, which screened before the White House and Congress and was praised as “one of the best, most powerful documentaries ever made” by Movie Guide.

Pharms

Pharms

“Pharms” While San Francisco experiences its second-wave Gold Rush in the form of the Techie Era, a tug of war between pharmaceutical companies and natural healthcare emerges, this time with an emphasis on marijuana and psychedelics.

“Pharms” is a short film and proof of concept for a television series.

This psychedelic dramedy offers a glimpse into opposing perspectives via visual and musical whimsy. It pays homage to a changing city and a changing ethos regarding American healthcare via the toggling dynamics of a brother and sister from San Francisco.

We are proudly associated with the Center for Conscious Creativity and we humbly seek contributors to join us and help spread our message of healing and connection.

Jazz Aviary

Jazz Aviary

JAZZ AVIARY is a multimedia concert in celebration of BIRDS and the universal music we share.
Conceived and performed by Susan Krebs in collaboration with Producer/Designer Marc Rosenthal, and with the Soaring Sextet, led by Musical Director Rich Eames.

Music, Poetry, Visual Projections, simple Ornithological Facts, and Birdsong are threaded throughout the concert.

A critically acclaimed multimedia concert and recording project, first performed by Susan with her longtime collaborators in 2004, many JAZZ AVIARY concert incarnations followed through 2010. It has remained a passion project for Susan, and she felt called earlier this year to revisit the concert after a nine-year hiatus — as it is now even more relevant and resonant in today’s world.

The Aviary flew again in June, 2019 at the San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center – to an overflowing house and a standing ovation! Uplift for all!
